Homeopathy; Like Cures Like
The highest ideal of practicing medicine is to cure patients.
The goal of homeopathy is to cure disease and is also my personal professional goal.
Sincerely, Dr. Faris
Homeopathic medicine works well in human and animal medicine and offers potential cures for chronic diseases considered incurable by allopathic medicine. Homeopathic treatment was used in veterinary practices as early as 1850. Today, homeopathy is experiencing a resurgence in popularity as many veterinarians and physicians seek safer, more effective holistic treatments for their patients. Homeopathy is an especially safe and powerful alternative therapy since it avoids the use of drugs with their potentially harmful side effects. In spite of ongoing scientific controversy, millions of doctors and patients worldwide continue to rely on homeopathic medicine.
Dr. Faris is enthusiastic about treating her animal patients with homeopathic medicine. She studied homeopathy at the Pitcairn Institute of Veterinary Homeopathy and she practices classical homeopathy* as taught by Samuel Hahnemann.
Homeopathic remedies are focused on strengthening the Vital Force thus increasing the effectiveness of the individual’s own healing powers. In other words, homeopathy stimulates the patient to heal itself. Homeopathic medicine is safe and effective when administered by a properly trained physician. The remedies used in homeopathy are made from plants, minerals, drugs, viruses, bacteria, and various substances produced by living organisms. They do not mask or suppress symptoms. Instead they are used treat the cause of the illness and thereby cure the disease. The approach to and practice of homeopathic medicine is quite different than allopathic or traditional modern medicine. The patient’s complete history and a clear picture of all symptoms must be obtained for proper prescribing. Our online consultation is an important tool for case evaluation in homeopathic practice.
